Charming Handbag
This is a little embarrassing because I'm totally out of control, but I've started sewing handbags now. I bought a beginner sewing book called 'Bend the Rules Sewing' and this is from the "Charming Handbag" pattern. I love sewing. I can't stop. Fabric stores are my new favorite place to shop. It's a good "waiting for baby" activity for me. I'm having trouble sleeping these days (pregnancy related) so it's not unusual for me to be sewing at 1am.

You are scaring me a little--are you having a manic episode? :P
This is so cute!!!!
So CUTE! I really like this bag! Especially the splash of hot pink in the stripe. With so much time and talent, why not just make your own diaper bag? ;-)
I remember knitting lots before my son was born. I really enjoyed it. It was great to sit there and be relaxed while doing something productive. I also really enjoyed sitting around with my sisters-in-law and my mother-in-law while we all talked and knitted or crocheted. Some day, I plan to do that again.
So maybe I should place my order now?? So cute!!!
oh em gee, that's a cutie.
well done you... i'm on a bit of a sewing bender too, gonna post The Speed Quilt i just made for my gorgeous S10 X
yes. manic episode. yes. definitely.
um, kellsey....i AM working on my own diaper bag. how did you know?
i bought a super cute pattern. a friend who has made one herself (and loves it) is helping me out.
i want to make my own nursing cover, bibs, burp cloths, and more handbags! ahhh!!
i fully realize that this will all come to a complete halt sometime in 6-8 weeks, so i'm soaking it all in for now...
Hey, if you can find something sort of stiff, but bendy and resilient to place in it, you should totally make yourself a "hooter hider". It's a GREAT nursing cover. I almost got you one as a gift, but decided on the diaper covers instead. anyways, check it out. Being able to look down and see my daughter and her being able to see me has been so great! also, it has been helpful for those times when you're nursing in the very beginning and need to be able to see what's going on so you can help make the connection.
Google it and check it out. You won't regret it.
i'm borrowing a "hooter hider" from a friend. it's super cute and such a great idea.
