ok, i confess i didn't make it.. it seems i can't get this paua shell/wire koru stuff outta my system. in NZ the koru (spiral) symbolises new life/harmony, so it's a perfect wedding present, imho. i took the kids into a local art boutique today for a bitta culture, and this leaped off the shelf and into my arms. the photo has come out a bit naff: in real life it's really *classy*..

um, so somehow I missed this whole time that you're from NZ, kate5kiwis. so cool that we can be virtual friends with someone across the globe.
i love the heart. it's so cool that you can make wire art. oh, and i LOVE Bono, too. i would love to listen in on a live concert. he's amazing!

the confession is (i did write it in my post..) that i *didn't* make this one...
but i am finishing up (as soon as i rediscover my muse) the pearl necklaces to go with the paua and wire pendants from my post two weeks ago..
the thing i am making at the mo is jewellery.. threading beads love.
that's about as far as my level of *artiste* goes lol..
although i did have a retro cushion thang going on last year... buttons and fur. very sexy. oh and i made a very funky (large, momma-style) handbag.
hubby keeps saying i should sell my stuff but honestly.. i haven't the nerve to aske for *money* for my creations, though i keep telling my friend mel that as soon as sho opens her interior design boutique i'll pop the kids in school and make stuff for her... lol X
Don't worry, I'll trust your judgement and avoid the googling. Your definition is good enough for me.
