Self-Portrait with Sweetpea (Retro)
These self-portraits were taken sometime in 1997 when Sweetpea and I lived with our friend Mia. (Man, that couch was ugly and is that a Jesus candle on the table?)
Sweetpea is one of my favorite people ever. She's brilliant, beautiful, hillarious and an amazing artist. I'm so glad that she's my friend!!! We've had some good times...

i think it was a candle that resembled a bong. i remember someone saying, "yeah, right. it's a candle. sure."
also, my brother was still using that couch in his apartment until recently. ugh. i hope it's gone to couch heaven by now.
It looks like the slab/raku pot project from McCoy's class. We have several that look identical. Those are the girls I knew!!
