kiwi update

i've been busy whizzy sewing Mnearly6's quilt. the story is here.


yes, my babiest baby is turning *six* in only five days.
hubby and i are off on a romantic 24 hours (sans kiddos lol) starting tomorrow at lunchtime.
as soon as monday dawns i'm making a well-overdue necklace for a friend, and a bracelet as well...
i sat out in the sun for two hours yesterday, my arms got a little bit sun-kissed: thanks for sending me the summer, i'm lovin' it X

Nappy Bag #2

I decided to make bag #1 a gift for a friend and I made a second one with fabric that seems to fit me a little better. =) I'm really happy with it. I can't wait to use it. Hopefully soon!!!!

Nappy Bag

I decided to make my own diaper bag using the "Nappy Bag" pattern from Amy Butler. The exterior fabric is also from Amy Butler. It was a big project. Lots of pockets inside and a small cell phone pocket outside. I'm really happy with it.

(We also bought a Skip Hop diaper bag that clips onto the stroller and that husband likes.)

and this side looks like it's covered in baby kisses
