New Linocut

Here is a new linocut I'm working on. My idea was that the tree represents our family and that the flower is our baby who will be grafted in to us. She will grow from our tree. Now, how to cut it.......?

jewellery muse

as summer creeps past (we just said goodbye to daylight savings), i have been finding myself yearning for things that are sparkly and sunshiney.
so i've made two sets of jewellery this week:

they are both re-fashioned from table napkin rings (!) that i found at a local interiors shop.. and unwired and re-designed... and i've been wearing them *every* day, loving the sparkles.

Smocking

The Deep South has gotten to me and I'm smocking. It's actually really fun. :o) Will post pics as things develop!
